Biography
| I have always been an artist. Whether drawing perfectly inside the lines with crayons and shading it in in at age 5, or drawing pictures in Microsoft Paint at 4, I've always been creating. My mother, an artist for over 40 years, taught me about art and colors, as well as providing me with a creative enviroment--my father, a computer programmer for over 30 years and a photography hobby-ist for over 20, always had computers readily accessible in my home, and had me using them early on. Together, they brought up a combination of both--a digital artist. I have been using Adobe Photoshop of various versions with no real instruction for seven years now, and am still honing my skills. Photoshop is always ready on my computer, in case inspiration suddenly strikes. I currently use Photoshop CS3. I currently reside in Aurora, Ontario, with my best friend and my beloved Shih Tzu, Coco. I moved here in June of 2008 after I graduated high school, hoping to start my life on my own and continue my career in art, ideally working as an editorial fashion photographer. In my spare time outside of doing artwork and taking photos, I play Final Fantasy XI, attempt to bowl (albeit poorly), hang out with my dog, be a general computer nerd, and sing when no one is listening. My past and current life very much influences my art. Every piece of work in my portfolio means the world to me, and they all have special meanings. Not all serious, of course. I use art as a means of self-expression, getting out my emotions that I'm too afraid to speak aloud.
